Selfhosted Deployment
Run Knowz on your own infrastructure as a containerized Docker Compose stack. Configure local persistence and choose offline, local-model, or external-provider AI paths according to the capabilities you need.
How it works
The Knowz CLI orchestrates a Docker Compose stack containing the selected API, web, worker, MCP, persistence, and storage services. Guided configuration chooses offline, local-model, or external-provider paths; updates use versioned container images.

Why it matters
A selfhosted deployment keeps the core knowledge data plane on infrastructure you control. Network egress depends on the providers, image delivery, telemetry, and integrations you explicitly configure, so the operating boundary remains visible.
